Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—while adhering to strict protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy through diligent analysis, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and performing the necessary maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for processing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, train new staff or students, and contribute to the overall quality assurance of the lab.
• Foster a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
