Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testssuch as chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, investigate discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and efficiently prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Meticulously document all processes, train incoming staff and students, and uphold the highest laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory as well as accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year from the employment date.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
