About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their mission-driven organization. The CFO will serve as a strategic executive leader, responsible for financial management, information technology, and enterprise data strategy. This role involves leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational performance management, while providing insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term sustainability. The CFO will also be a key member of the Executive Team, partnering with the Board of Directors and senior leaders to optimize resources, strengthen systems and controls, and advance the organization's goals. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in an executive or senior finance role within a complex organization. Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential. The CFO will be expected to provide strategic business analysis, lead financial strategy and operations, and ensure that information technology and data strategies support the organization's effectiveness and innovation. Experience in nonprofit, public sector, healthcare, education, housing, or other complex mission-driven organizations is preferred. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree being advantageous. The CFO will also have supervisory responsibilities and must be prepared for a fully in-person work environment.
