About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join as a strategic partner, shaping a bold and sustainable financial future. The CFO will be responsible for leading the enterprise-wide financial strategy, aligning long-term plans with mission priorities, and ensuring the organization's financial operations are in strict compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of nonprofit finance, including fund accounting, grant compliance, and managing complex, multi-source revenue. The CFO will also be a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the shaping of enterprise strategy, and will be expected to bring a strong focus on equity, inclusion, and anti-racism to the organization's financial practices. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and operations experience, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A CPA, CMA, MBA, or relevant advanced degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong background in financial systems and execution. Experience in mission-driven, youth-serving, or membership-based nonprofits is a plus. The CFO will be expected to lead a high-performing finance team, model organizational values, and foster a culture of trust, direct communication, and continuous learning. Equity-centered finance and experience with advanced capital tools are also key requirements for this role.
