About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a senior financial leader, responsible for the finance organization, and will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, ownership, and the Board. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization's growth, with a focus on capital planning, liquidity and balance-sheet management, forecasting, performance analytics, and business-line profitability. The ideal candidate will have a background in traditional consumer and commercial banking, as well as experience with specialized and technology-enabled financial products and services. The CFO will also be tasked with modernizing the finance function, leveraging technology, automation, and data to enhance financial insights and decision-making. Candidates for the CFO position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with relevant certifications preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience within financial services is required, with a preference for those who have served as a bank CFO or in a comparable senior finance leadership role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in modernizing financial processes, supporting growth initiatives, and leading multidisciplinary finance teams. Deep technical expertise in bank finance, including capital planning, ALM, liquidity, and regulatory requirements, is essential. Experience with fintech partnerships, impact lending, and a mission-driven banking environment is highly valued. The CFO should be proactive, solutions-oriented, and have a hands-on leadership style that aligns with an entrepreneurial, mission-driven culture.
