Billing Coordinator

To support a dynamic legal team, the remote Billing Coordinator will manage the preparation, review, and processing of client invoices, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client-specific guidelines while collaborating with attorneys and clients. Key responsibilities Ensure compliance of client invoices with firm policies and client billing guidelines, identifying and resolving billing issues as necessary Execute the full billing cycle, including edits, adjustments, and final invoice dispatch, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare standard and ad hoc reports using Excel and Elite 3e, and analyze unbilled inventory to ensure timely resolution of balances Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience Minimum of three years of billing/accounting experience in a law firm or professional services firm Advanced knowledge of Elite 3e or similar accounting systems Familiarity with major ebilling websites such as CounselLink and Legal Tracker Proficiency in MS Excel for producing reports and spreadsheets
