Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely while primarily serving children within the school environment. The LCSW will communicate with students, parents, and school staff via telehealth platforms and may attend school meetings and workshops. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to clients in their school environment, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling, addressing symptoms of major mental illness and emotional disorders.

• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure continuity of care and support students' academic and emotional needs.

• Conduct brief and evidence-based screenings to assess mental health needs and coordinate referrals for more comprehensive evaluations as necessary.

• Facilitate crisis intervention services, employing immediate therapeutic techniques to ensure student safety and well-being.

• Effectively manage a diverse caseload, delivering personalized care that addresses unique client challenges and fosters empowerment and choice.

• Engage in on-call duties outside regular hours to provide urgent support and ensure consistent access to essential services for clients.

• Participate actively within team meetings and committees, focusing on enhancing service delivery and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

• Document treatment progress and outcomes thoroughly, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents who experience significant mental health challenges, often in an educational context. The target population includes students facing emotional or behavioral issues, trauma, and psychosocial stressors that hinder their academic and social development. The role emphasizes culturally responsive care, acknowledging and respecting diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Oregon.

• Exceptional knowledge and understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, particularly concerning children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
