Senior Financial Analyst – Full Time Mullinax Ford is seeking a personable, hard-working, and self-motivated team member to join our multi-store enterprise. The ideal candidate can effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment where business needs frequently shift and no two days look the same. Success in this role requires adaptability, resilience, and the ability to balance long-term projects with urgent requests while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required. Roles and Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Business Partnership Prepare and analyze financial reporting, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership. Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance, support decision-making, and drive accountability. Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial audiences. Conduct ad hoc analyses and investigate emerging trends to answer critical business questions. Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. Provide financial oversight and analytical support for assigned business areas, initiatives, and special projects. Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and automation solutions to improve visibility and streamline processes. Leverage data analytics and technology to simplify workflows and improve decision-making. Leadership & Execution Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-changing environment. Serve as a subject matter expert for financial reporting, analysis, and business performance. Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making. While strategic planning and project management are important, success in this role requires the ability to quickly pivot as urgent business needs arise, often reshaping priorities throughout the day. What are we looking for? BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Management required. 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, process automation, and supporting cross-functional business operations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Working knowledge of CDK DMS Software & Microsoft Office applications (Desired) What do we offer?
