About the Opportunity

Our client is a global business and technology services firm. Its digital services team sells across everything outside the traditional contact center business and outside dedicated data and analytics leadership, spanning platform and infrastructure, Cognitive Ops (agentic AI applied to contact center operations), automation-driven solutions, and elements of data and analytics.

This search is for the company's U.S. entity specifically. The role is scoped entirely to the U.S. market and does not draw on or leverage the company's international operations.

We are hiring a Director of Digital Sales to open new logos across this broad capability set. This is 100% new business: no account management, no farming, no inherited book. You will self-source your own pipeline and carry it from first conversation through close.

This is a broad, cross-capability sale, not a single-product pitch. The right person can identify a business problem, connect it to the right capability, and bring in deeper technical resources as needed, without needing to be a deep technologist themselves.

What You'll Do

• Own and carry a new logo revenue quota of roughly $3M in incremental yearly revenue (IYR). This is 100% new logo, not account management or farming; new logos can be farmed for up to one year before transitioning to a dedicated account manager.
• Self-source your pipeline through active prospecting. Lead flow is limited today, so success depends on your own outreach rather than inbound support.
• Manage a mixed pipeline of shorter-cycle digital project work, averaging around $300K, alongside larger, multi-year pursuits that can run into the eight figures.
• Sell across platform and infrastructure, Cognitive Ops and agentic AI for contact center operations, automation-driven solutions, and elements of data and analytics.
• Identify near-term needs that can be solved through project work or a paid assessment, while keeping sight of the larger, cross-capability, multi-year opportunity.
• Build credibility and trust quickly with net-new prospects. Reconnecting an existing network alone does not convert to fast new business here.

What Success Looks Like

• You build a self-sourced, qualified pipeline from largely cold outreach, not from inbound or existing relationships.
• You convert that pipeline into closed new logo revenue against a quota near $3M.
• You demonstrate technology credibility across the digital capability set without needing deep technical depth.
• You build trust with new prospects fast enough to convert within a reasonable sales cycle.

What We're Looking For: Mandatory background:

• Demonstrated new logo / hunter track record, not primarily a closer or account manager.
• A visible, defined quota-carrying history, ideally in the $3M range.
• Cross-capability selling background across multiple services or solution types, such as platform, automation, cognitive/AI-enabled solutions, and/or data and analytics, not a single-product specialist.
• Technology-credible rather than technical: able to identify a business problem, connect it to the right technology, and speak to specific past deals in detail.
• Experience self-sourcing pipeline with little to no inbound or marketing support.

Also valuable:

• BFSI experience, ideally with mid-tier institutions such as regional or super-regional banks.
• Consumer packaged goods selling experience.
• Comfortable operating with limited brand recognition and inconsistent lead flow.

Your background should show real fluency across at least 3 to 4 of the following: platform and infrastructure services; Cognitive Ops and agentic AI applied to contact center operations; automation-driven solutions; cloud; cybersecurity; data and analytics; and FP&A.

Vertical Focus

Primary focus is BFSI, followed by consumer packaged goods and retail. Target accounts run from mid-market to enterprise, not the largest money-center banks or the smallest credit unions. Healthcare is out of scope for this role.
