Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders in clients, ensuring understanding of their unique challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and family dynamics.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client needs.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting awareness and understanding.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, tracking outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible results.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, facilitating holistic treatment approaches.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually improve clinical practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in case discussions, team-building activities, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

• Advocate for clients’ needs by participating in initiatives aimed at reducing mental health stigma in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families facing challenges related to relationship dynamics, including divorce, communication barriers, and emotional distress. Your expertise will guide them through their difficulties, fostering resilience and growth while building a therapeutic alliance rooted in trust and empathy.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field is required.
