Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney

A highly regarded, boutique New York-based litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated matters at the intersection of trust & estates litigation and complex commercial disputes , with direct exposure to partners and high-level client strategy. The firm is known for its elite pedigree, collaborative culture, and focus on delivering strategic, results-driven counsel to clients in high-stakes matters. Responsibilities: Handle complex trust & estates litigation matters , including disputes involving fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and estate administration Support and manage commercial litigation / BigLaw-style defense matters across a variety of industries Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents Participate in all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, and court appearances Work closely with partners on case strategy, client advisement, and execution Manage cases with increasing independence from inception through resolution Build and maintain strong client relationships in a high-touch environment Qualifications: 8+ years of litigation experience Background in trust & estates litigation strongly preferred , but commercial litigators encouraged to apply Exceptional academic credentials, including: Top law school; BigLaw experience and/or Federal or state clerkship (or comparable pedigree) Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to take ownership of matters and operate in a lean, high-performance environment Admission to the New York Bar (required) Compensation: Starting at ~$250,000 base (flexible based on experience) + discretionary bonus Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) Team: Small, highly credentialed group of attorneys offering direct partner access and meaningful responsibility Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and 4 weeks PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr
