Customer Service Representative (Hybrid)

Position Overview We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with call center experience who enjoy helping customers, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will assist participants via phone and email, support registration and login issues, answer program-related questions, and help ensure a positive customer experience through effective issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and strive for first-call resolution. Handle incoming phone calls, email requests, and escalated inquiries. Assist participants with registration and login issues. Guide users through program-specific websites and online portals. Answer questions regarding applications and services available through the participant portal. Partner with Account Management to resolve complex or non-routine issues. Assist members with completing surveys over the phone. Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of call center experience. Demonstrated customer service and issue resolution skills. Strong attention to detail and active listening abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and pleasant phone demeanor. Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed. Successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Must live within one hour of Indianapolis, IN. Ability to work onsite two days per week after training. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a technical call center or customer support environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred and prioritized for interview consideration). Experience supporting customers with technical, website, or account-related issues. Work Schedule This is a *hybrid position*. Once training is completed, employees will work onsite *two days per week* and remotely the remaining days. Available Permanent Shifts 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Please note: Assigned shifts are permanent and do not change after offer acceptance. Home Office Requirements Private workspace with a door. Ability to hardwire a company-issued laptop directly to the internet (Wi-Fi is not permitted). Working from home cannot be used as a substitute for childcare.
