Overview:Hui o Laka is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to manage daily operations and programs. Used in Koke'e State Park, on the island of Kauai, our non-profit manages Koke'e Natural History Museum, retail sales and historic cabin rentals. The Hui o Laka mission is to nurture the connection between people and the spirit of Koke'e.
Compensation : $25.00+/hour
Schedule: Full-time/40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Inquiries: email and telephone regarding museum operations and cabin rentals
Data and documents: proven proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks
Financial: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation
Logistics: Oversee incoming/outgoing mail and pick-up purchases and supplies
Support: Assist the Executive Director with general program management and other duties as required
Digital Outreach: Update and maintain organization-wide social media accounts
Requirements
Education: University degree or equivalent experiences
Skills: Excellent communication, time management and multi-taskingh skills
Logistics: Reliable personal car transportation to work on-site, valid Driver's License. Mileage reimbursement included.
