Who You Are

You're more than a strong chef; you're a culinary leader who knows how to run a serious scratch kitchen. You understand fresh ingredients, seafood, proteins, sauces, prep, presentation, and the details required to deliver consistent food at volume. You can command the line during a rush, develop the people around you, and step into the Executive Chef role whenever needed.

You bring high standards without losing the ability to have fun, communicate directly, and build a kitchen culture rooted in teamwork, accountability, and pride. What You'll Do

• Serve as the Executive Chef's right hand and lead all back-of-house operations in their absence
• Help run a high-volume, full-service scratch kitchen where quality, freshness, and execution matter every shift
• Lead, train, coach, and develop Sous Chefs, cooks, prep cooks, and utility team members
• Own line execution by keeping food quality, ticket times, plating, and consistency sharp during service
• Execute recipes and menus to standard while protecting the integrity of scratch-made preparation
• Work confidently with fresh seafood, proteins, sauces, produce, and other fresh ingredients
• Conduct daily shift briefings and ensure the kitchen is stocked, prepped, organized, and ready for the rush
• Control food flow while identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, waste, labor, and food cost
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, equipment, and overall kitchen cleanliness
• Partner with the Executive Chef to build a BOH culture where people develop, perform, and take pride in their work
