Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intensive counseling and psychotherapy sessions with patients to address their mental health needs and establish a strong therapeutic alliance.

• Perform comprehensive mental status examinations to assess client conditions and recognize fluctuations in their mental health status.

• Craft individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, and adjust these plans as necessary to facilitate clients' progress toward their recovery goals.

• Build and maintain effective, respectful, and collaborative relationships with colleagues, including addiction specialists and psychiatric staff, to provide holistic patient care.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions when necessary, offering immediate emotional support and stabilization strategies to clients experiencing acute distress.

• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in mental health care to ensure that treatment protocols remain effective and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adult clients who are undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. This population often presents with complex mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will not only help guide them through detoxification but also provide essential support to address underlying issues that may affect their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active California License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunrise Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
