Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work comfortably from your own space while still being an integral part of our supportive team. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while prioritizing patient care. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual patient needs and to develop personalized, actionable treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that foster community and address common mental health issues.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring holistic patient care and comprehensive treatment.

• Respond to mental health crises promptly, offering immediate support and interventions as necessary.

• Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment selections, and community resources, enhancing their understanding and involvement in their care.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in case consultations and team meetings to enrich professional knowledge and improve service delivery.

• Stay informed of current research and best practices in mental health therapy to continuously enhance personal and team effectiveness.

As a therapist at Wellness Care Psychological Center, you will engage with a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals seeking support for chronic mental health conditions, professionals facing workplace stress, families navigating relational difficulties, and individuals working through substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong skills in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.

• Adherence to professional ethics and judgment, with a commitment to maintaining boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
