Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, patterns, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to improve client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on managing mood disorders, including available treatment options and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to ethical and legal healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse adult population experiencing various mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
