Legal Billing Specialist

Position: LEGAL BILLER

Location: West Palm Beach, FL: Hybrid — 3 days in office / 2 days remote after training

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Legal Biller to manage the full billing process for attorneys and clients. This role is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, reviewing billing activity, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring invoices are issued timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly legal invoices
• Review attorney time, expenses, and billing information for accuracy
• Apply client-specific billing guidelines and fee arrangements
• Review pre-bills and make necessary corrections
• Process final bills, write-offs, adjustments, and credits
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies
• Respond to attorney and client billing inquiries
• Monitor billing deadlines and outstanding invoices
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Assist with special billing projects as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal billing experience;
  law firm experience required
• Strong understanding of legal billing procedures
• Experience with attorney time and expense billing
• Knowledge of client billing guidelines and fee arrangements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Elite 3E or other legal billing software preferred
