Overview As part of the Global Operations Team, located in Sunnyvale, CA, you will develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronic components and OEM equipment. You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost reduction initiatives, ensure supply continuity, and support new product development. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, supplier identification and selection, and supplier development. Generate tactical and strategic commodity roadmaps that drive improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and working capital. Research and identify new technologies and industry trends in connectivity, electronics, compute, and data management. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure end‑user requirements are sufficiently detailed for sourcing and procurement. Manage supplier risk through identification and mitigation of supplier operational and financial deficiencies. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business with 8+ years of work experience; or Master’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience; or Doctoral degree with 3+ years of experience. Direct experience leading cross‑functional teams to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. Strong communication skills, able to convey difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view. Global sourcing experience for a multinational manufacturing company with proven negotiation skills. Preferred Experience Highly regulated medical device manufacturing. Building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers. Ability to interpret product Bill of Materials (BOMs) and drawings; commercial experience with contractual documentation in a dynamic environment. Continuous improvement in manufacturing. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $150,000–$175,000. This range is open to adjustment and may be modified in the future. The role may also include bonus or incentive pay. The position is eligible for hybrid work arrangements: part of the time at the company location and part of the time remotely.
