Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical therapy needs based on physician referrals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address each patient's specific orthopedic and rehabilitation requirements.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic modalities, rehabilitation exercises, and other treatment techniques, ensuring adherence to each patient's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment processes, conditions, and home care techniques to foster their understanding and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through coordinated care.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely, participating in evaluations of growth and effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service, contributing to a positive and effective therapy environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Mega Motion, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation after injuries. You will also have the opportunity to engage with a diverse client base, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by each patient group is essential in delivering specialized care that promotes recovery and enhances quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is mandatory.
• A valid and current State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• Previous experience of at least two years in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is necessary.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
