Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to formulate comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement specific therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to restore function, alleviate pain, and improve overall mobility.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families, guiding them through therapies and empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, utilizing our electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
• Meet minimum utilization targets while contributing to the clinic's success and patient satisfaction.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to foster professional development and clinical skills enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, but the diverse nature of our practice also allows exposure to a variety of specializations including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and those managing chronic conditions, providing you with a dynamic and engaging work experience where no two days are alike.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in written and verbal communication, coupled with proficiency in computer applications for documentation and reporting.
• Capacity to build strong patient relationships, aimed at motivating patients to achieve and surpass their rehabilitation goals.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a preference for orthopedic specialties.

Compensation and Benefits
