Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and interviews with new clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their backgrounds and needs.

• Evaluate and document clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, tracking changes and progress throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions that foster growth and healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress against established treatment goals and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with psychiatrists regarding medication management for clients requiring pharmacological support.
\n
• Identify and address any behaviors or barriers that could impede client recovery and overall well-being.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to address mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services are designed to support a wide range of client needs, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of various treatment modalities and an understanding of the interplay between mental health and physical health conditions.

• Experience in working with clients experiencing addiction disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities that allow for effective client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
