Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting with primary hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and support systems, laying the groundwork for personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Lead psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups, creating a safe space for clients to share experiences, cultivate community, and learn coping strategies.

• Coordinate with fellow healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients during mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm and effective approach.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available local resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing educational sessions to remain abreast of field advancements.

• Commit to continual professional growth through workshops, conferences, and training opportunities related to mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is essential to practice as a therapist.

• Demonstrated proficiency in mental health assessment and treatment planning, informed by extensive knowledge of diagnostic criteria and therapeutic approaches.

• A track record of providing individual and group therapy to varied populations, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 – 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
