- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- The Assistant Controller will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger activity and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- The Assistant Controller will support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests.
- Help strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and departmental procedures.
- Assist with cash management, fixed assets, and other day-to-day accounting functions.
- The Assistant Controller will provide guidance and support to accounting staff while partnering with leadership on financial initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and general ledger accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
