Position Responsibilities
- Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their functional goals.
- Implement Targeted Interventions: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with a team of OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers about therapy practices to ensure continued progress beyond the clinical setting.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as needed, keeping patients on their journey to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Continuing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve a greater level of independence.
- Excellent, compassionate communication skills for interacting with both patients and team members.
