Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities Assist attorneys and the IP litigation team in multiple patent litigation matters through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. Review, cite-check, prepare, and file court documents in federal and state courts, including electronic filings through ECF and other filing systems. Assist with service of process, motion practice, case management, and all aspects of discovery. Prepare and manage discovery requests, subpoenas, privilege logs, document productions, and deposition materials. Update and maintain production databases, document repositories, and e-discovery platforms. Maintain production indexes, deposition indexes, exhibit lists, and general case organization. Coordinate document collections, reviews, productions, and communications with e-discovery vendors. Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules, scheduling orders, and litigation milestones. Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial. Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits, witness files, demonstratives, and trial binders. Attend trials and provide comprehensive trial support, including courtroom logistics and exhibit management. Work closely with paralegal team and attorneys to support case strategy and execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred. 2-4 years of relevant experience in intellectual property, patent litigation, or complex litigation. Experience with electronic court filing, motion practice, cite-checking, formatting pleadings for filing, and all aspects of discovery. Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work calmly and confidently in a friendly, fast-paced team environment. Detail-oriented with strong word-processing and document formatting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Relativity and/or other litigation support databases and e-discovery platforms. Strong understanding of litigation procedures, case management, and document production workflows. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $90,000-$125,000.
