Key Responsibilities\n

As the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth platforms and in-person meetings at our outpatient office.

• Engaging with clients to establish treatment goals tailored to their unique needs, guiding them through the therapeutic process.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to foster positive outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) software.
\n
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance care strategies and improve service delivery.
\n
• Developing a niche or specialty area, such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health, and sharing that expertise with clients and the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a diverse demographic, including teens, adults, and families from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. As a therapist, you'll work closely with patients facing a range of concerns, from anxiety and relationship challenges to trauma and life transitions. Your ability to provide bilingual services in both English and Spanish will be crucial in reaching and serving our community effectively.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong bilingual capabilities, with proficiency in both English and Spanish for psychotherapy services.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a behavioral health setting with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated respect and sensitivity towards diverse cultural needs and family customs.
\n
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues from a variety of backgrounds.
\n
• Training in recognized methodologies (CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR) and a desire to continue learning.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software programs.
\n
• A valid driver's license and car insurance, as some roles may require travel.
\n
• Availability to work at least two evenings a week and one weekend day.
\n
• Commitment to regular attendance and punctuality, essential for both client care and team collaboration.

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with specialized expertise in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, grief, or perinatal mental health will stand out in our selection process. Experience serving as an in-network provider with insurance panels is also advantageous, as it allows you to serve a broader range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
