Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, tailoring assessments to meet each client’s unique context.

• Collaborate with clients to design detailed, individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and reflect evidence-based practices.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their mental health challenges successfully.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, offering information on treatment modalities and promoting self-care techniques that foster recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress, refine treatment plans, and adapt interventions as needed to optimize client outcomes.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies and patient support.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on supporting clients experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may include vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your efforts will not only impact individual lives but will also contribute to the broader community’s mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
