Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients suffering from mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, personal goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster emotional growth and resiliency.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress in accordance with treatment plans, adjusting approaches as necessary based on evolving circumstances.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive treatment.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advanced methodologies related to mood disorder management, enhancing your therapeutic skills and strategies.

• Maintain meticulous records that adhere to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and trust.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse client base, including those from various cultural backgrounds, homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role is vital in providing compassionate support and empowering these individuals on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
