Business Office Secretary
Job Requirements: Other Experience/Skills (Preferred): Experience in a school district business office preferred. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, payroll systems, and financial recordkeeping preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced office environment. Qualifications/Certification Required: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Prior secretarial or administrative assistance experience required, preferably in a school or public sector setting. Knowledge of school business operations, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and board office procedures preferred.
Description/Job Summary Details: The Business Office Secretary provides confidential administrative and clerical support to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Responsibilities include preparation of board materials and reports, maintenance of financial and personnel records, coordination of communications and schedules, assistance with budget and payroll processes, and support for collective negotiations and district business operations. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Compensation: Salary: $55,000-$65,000 Salary range is based on applicable professional experience and other relevant factors at the time of the job offer. Single Benefits /Vision & Dental
