Schedule: Monday‑Friday, school year with additional summer pay available. About this position We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The mission of SSAC is to be a warm, welcoming place where children with autism receive high‑quality ABA services and families receive support, knowledge, and care. Our services include naturalistic ABA interventions throughout the South Shore community, early intervention for children under 3, in‑home services for preschool and school‑aged children, and parent training. Position Summary An SSAC Behavior Analyst demonstrates strong clinical skills, commits to supervising a team of behavior therapists, and maintains excellent communication with parents, supervisors, and supervisees. Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload, providing clinical services, and collaborating with other BCBAs and the Clinical Director. Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities Client‑specific oversight: initial assessment, treatment plan development, reassessments, session scheduling, caseload supervision/management. Supervise Behavior Therapists. Monitor data and write, modify, train on programs. Serve as the main point of contact for each family; communicate daily/weekly updates, progress, and concerns. Facilitate client transition to a new team when clinically appropriate. Provide school consultation. Collaborate with other providers and professionals, deliver individual and group parent training. Lead, train new Behavior Therapists, mentor other BCBAs. Collaborate with Clinical or Executive Directors on program‑wide needs and site‑specific projects. Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, and professional development. Protect client and family confidentiality. Qualifications Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field. BCBA certification and Massachusetts license (LABA). One (1) or more years of BCBA experience preferred; newly certified BCBAs eligible via BCBA Pathway program. At least three (3) years of ABA experience or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. At least three (3) years of experience working with children with autism ages 14 and younger, including toddlers. Two recent, redacted writing samples demonstrating clinical skills (e.g., Functional Behavior Assessment, Treatment Plan). Two professional or academic supervisor references. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Physical ability to occasionally lift or transport clients or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and to move quickly to follow clients when walking or running. Consent to a criminal background investigation. Ability to travel to clients’ homes on the South Shore. Benefits Guaranteed base salary with additional summer pay. Ability to sit or kneel on the ground with clients and to quickly rise to a standing position if needed.
