Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Credential Specialist in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and perform routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will stay visible, support site access procedures, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) TSA Issued TWIC (C133) Job Schedule DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and managing entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at the location. Monitor gates, lobbies, badge stations, and other assigned access points to help control unauthorized entry and help to deter security-related concerns in a chemical and petrochemical environment. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as appropriate. Complete visitor registration, vehicle and material entry documentation, and required activity reports while maintaining accurate records of security-related events and observations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including restricted access areas, while observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or unusual activity. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A TSA issued TWIC is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
