Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $15.50 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License – In Job State (C124) TSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule Tue: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM – 12:00 PM Thur: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and noting potential hazards or maintenance issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and help to support controlled access for authorized personnel. Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations or critical situations, following established protocols and preparing clear, timely reports. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. A TSA issued TWIC is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
