Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - ICU for a long-term travel position requiring MA RN licensure and prior Level 1 ICU or MICU experience.

Job Details

• ICU Float position covering Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units,
• 32-bed Medical ICU also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients, split between two floors,
• Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 when acuity requires,
• Common cases include sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure,
• AM shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week,
• 30-minute meal break included in shift,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• 48-hour contracts will be accommodated,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required,
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association),
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level 1 ICU required, or 2 years preferred in a MICU setting,
• New graduate nurses with only 1 year of experience are not considered a strong fit for this unit,
