Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Sonora, California. This travel assignment starts 09/14/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn $2,072–$2,216 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12-hour shift schedule in a short-term acute-care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering coordinated ER nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct emergency nursing care for an assigned patient population in the ER according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess and analyze patient needs, and develop an appropriate care plan.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with other disciplines, and supervise the activities of various levels of nursing staff as appropriate.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and perform or assist with procedures within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, participate in discharge planning, and provide patient and family education.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to ensure a safe, healing, and compassionate environment; delegate and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California)
- CPR/BLS certification required; facility-specific BLS as applicable
- ACLS and PALS certifications required (per policy)
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER or acute care experience
- Ability to work in an acute care setting on a travel assignment; ability to meet the shift and scheduling requirements
