Position Overview

The Breakthrough Rehabilitation & Treatment Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our onsite team in Red Bank, New Jersey. This full-time opportunity involves collaborating with a skilled group of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services. Work Environment

This role is set within a dynamic rehabilitation center that fosters teamwork and a nurturing atmosphere. The center operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing an ideal work-life balance while enabling our therapists to maximize their impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Breakthrough Rehabilitation & Treatment Center, you will:

• Adhere to relevant state practice acts and guidelines, ensuring compliance with laws governing physical therapy practice.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, considering their medical history and specific functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on patient evaluations and treatment responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in interprofessional consultations when necessary, documenting changes in the patient's condition accurately and modifying the plan of care as required.
• Complete discharge planning and post-treatment follow-ups while maintaining clear, concise, and timely documentation of each patient's treatment journey.
• Maintain compliance with corporate and clinical training requirements, staying updated with state, local, and federal regulations applicable to physical therapy practice.
• Attend facility meetings to collaborate with peers on overcoming barriers to patient access and leverage data to improve care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily serves an outpatient population with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life by utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Physical Therapist position should possess:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Certification in CPR, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, or pediatric physical therapy will be seen as advantageous. Candidates who demonstrate leadership abilities and the willingness to mentor junior staff will be evaluated favorably.
