Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be performed entirely through telehealth, providing flexibility and accessibility for both therapists and clients. You will engage with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring they receive the support they need regardless of geographical barriers. Your typical work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required on a rotating schedule to accommodate client appointments, enhancing our service delivery and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients develop essential coping skills, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation strategies.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to deliver integrated and holistic treatment solutions.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring protocols and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients on their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the interconnectedness of mental health and substance use disorders, clarifying the importance of adherence to treatment regimens.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation regarding treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, complying with ethical and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in case conferences, training sessions, and team meetings to enhance collaborative knowledge and skills in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

The clients you will work with are individuals facing the challenges of co-occurring disorders—those who are simultaneously dealing with mental health issues and substance use challenges. Your role is to provide empathetic support while helping clients navigate their complex situations. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive the integrated care they need to achieve lasting recovery and improved overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrable proficiency in evidence-based therapies specific to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the relationship between mental health disorders and substance use challenges, ensuring a holistic treatment approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience working with individuals facing mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions, ensuring comfort and skill in this remote engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
