Hawkins Ash CPAs is hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Winona office.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform clerical duties, including but not limited to answering phones
  • Provide professional, efficient, and accurate administrative support to office team members
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and take messages
  • Write and review memos and letters
  • Assist in the assembly of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist with client billing and receivables
  • Be responsible for task management system and notification of due dates
  • Assist other administrative staff with overflow work
  • Assemble, scan, and electronically file tax returns
  • Other duties as assigned
  • From January through April 15th, this position will work approximately 40-50 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with some Saturday availability. April 16th through December 31st, the hours are flexible and could work 30-36 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, depending on availability.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An associate’s degree in Administrative Assistance or one year of experience in a similar position
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client matters
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office
