Lead Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $70K-107K per year

Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Lead Location: Valley Park, Missouri (Mid Campus Center – 4590 Children’s Pl) Employment Type: Staff (Ongoing) Hours: Monday – Friday, five 8‑hour shifts. Minimal weekend requirement, no holidays. Overview BJC HealthCare seeks a skilled RN to lead a Med Surg team, manage patient flow, coordinate referral processes, and support hospice care. The role requires active registration with the Family Care Safety Registry and prior hospice/lead experience preferred. Responsibilities Serve as lead for Referral Coordinators and direct patient flow processes. Coordinate day‑to‑day operations and train new staff. Perform accurate data entry and resolve order entry issues. Handle customer compliments and complaints; update patient records as needed. Assist staff troubleshooting and handle escalated patient concerns. Implement process improvement and maintain ICARE standards. Minimum Requirements Associate’s Degree in Nursing. RN license. Less than 2 years of experience. Less than 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. 5–10 years of experience. 2–5 years of supervisory experience.
