Asistente Médico II-Medicina Interna-Jesse Owens (8am-5pm)

Responsabilidades Esta posición es responsable de proporcionar una excelente atención y experiencia al paciente de acuerdo con los principios rectores de Mountain Park, HIPAA y cualquier otra ley federal y estatal aplicable. La posición de Asistente Médico (MA) II debe ser capaz de realizar las funciones esenciales de un MA. Realiza y completa deberes, tareas, responsabilidades y asignaciones clínicas y no clínicas en la oficina trasera. Aplica principios de gestión de prácticas y colabora con la oficina delantera para mantener registros médicos precisos y actualizados mientras asegura actividades del ciclo de ingresos sin interrupciones. Se adhiere y sigue los procedimientos para la administración de inmunizaciones y medicamentos, incluyendo pero no limitado a etiquetado, almacenamiento y utilización. Realiza y se adhiere a todas las instrucciones de pruebas de las Enmiendas de Mejora de Laboratorio Clínico (CLIA); recoge muestras, procesa y documenta resultados en los registros de salud electrónicos (EHR). Cumple con las órdenes del proveedor dentro del alcance de la práctica y proporciona instrucciones de alta a los pacientes. Ayuda a coordinar la continuidad de la atención del paciente con los departamentos de salud internos. Mantiene niveles adecuados de suministros en las salas de examen y prepara la sala de examen para la atención y procedimientos del paciente. Identifica e informa sobre cualquier riesgo de seguridad, o peligro potencial, notificando directamente al personal de supervisión de inmediato sobre preocupaciones. Entrevista a los pacientes para obtener el motivo de la visita, antecedentes y quejas principales; realiza signos vitales y otras necesidades de atención al paciente, documentando lo mismo para completar el proceso de admisión del paciente. Utiliza y se adhiere a los procedimientos de charting y documentación adecuados para todos los servicios relacionados con el paciente, exámenes, interacciones y asignaciones realizadas.
