Pay & Benefits

• Salary: $136,822 $179,379 annually (based on experience)
• Incentives: Up to $10,000 annually via QVIP, relocation bonus up to $10,000

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced overnight trauma and acute care surgery services.
• Perform assessments, interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans independently.
• Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
• Support surgical teams with procedures and ongoing patient management.
• Document all care in Epic EMR accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while working autonomously.
• Ensure adherence to medical staff bylaws, protocols, and high-quality safety standards.
• Participate in mentorship and ongoing professional development programs.

What You Need

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license and national board certification (ANCC).
• Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or surgical fellowship completion.
• BLS and DEA certification.
• Must meet all VMS certification requirements, including ANCC, BLS, and Board Certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet hospital credentialing standards.
