Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized therapy strategies for clients based on observed needs and individual goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing diverse methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to legal and ethical standards, while ensuring confidentiality and trust.

• Engage in continuous improvement by participating in professional development workshops and staying informed about the latest in mental health research.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and clinical aides, to provide comprehensive care tailored to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their unique circumstances, providing a safe space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.

• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with diverse client populations.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client load.
