Conduct assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans

Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality

Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to achieve the best patient outcomes

Educate both patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge approaches, and appropriate home exercises

Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with required guidelines

Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee cohesive patient care

Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification preferred

Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous although not mandatory

Previous experience in a related role is strongly preferred

Capability to treat patients facing intricate medical and mobility challenges

Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Proficient with digital health records and clinical documentation systems
