We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant / Lead Functional Analyst to support a highly integrated Enterprise Products (EP) landscape consisting of Oracle Fusion Finance, custom-built internal applications, and third-party systems.

The consultant will serve as the onsite functional liaison between Customer Application Managers, the Customer QA Lead, and offshore QA teams in India and Singapore. The role requires strong Finance domain expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with functional testing.

Hands-on experience designing, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify functional requirements across Oracle Fusion Finance and integrated internal applications.

• Partner with the onsite QA Lead and coordinate functional activities with offshore QA teams.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and validation scenarios.

• Design, execute, review, and manage functional test cases and test scenarios.

• Review test scenarios for coverage, business relevance, and requirements traceability.

• Understand and validate end-to-end integrated business flows across Oracle Fusion, internal applications, and third-party systems.

• Act as the onsite liaison for the offshore team and communicate project status, risks, issues, and blockers.

• Support UAT and functional readiness activities.

• Drive defect triage and resolution across Fusion, internal, and third-party application teams.

• Monitor Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and patch validation activities.

• Analyze Oracle release notes and identify impacted business processes and integrations.

• Develop risk-based regression testing strategies.

• Validate integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations following Oracle patches and quarterly updates.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Oracle Fusion Finance experience.

• Strong functional knowledge of most of the following:

  • Receivables

  • Revenue

  • General Accounting

  • Asset Accounting

  • Commercial Tax

  • Payables & Payments

  • Procurement

  • Subscription

  • RL Customer MDM Integration

  • General Ledger

  • Intercompany

• Strong experience with highly integrated Oracle Fusion environments.

• Experience validating end-to-end business flows across Oracle Fusion, custom applications, and third-party systems.

• Proven experience defining and reviewing functional validation scenarios.

• Strong hands-on experience designing, executing, and managing test cases/test scenarios.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion quarterly release testing and patch validation.

• Experience analyzing Oracle release notes and developing regression testing strategies.

• Experience validating integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations.

• Experience working in an onsite/offshore delivery model.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to explain complex Finance processes to business and technical audiences.

• Must be based in California and able to work onsite in Menlo Park 3 days per week .

Nice to Have

• End-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementation, upgrade, or quarterly release experience.

• Knowledge of OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, and file-based interfaces .

• Experience tracing and validating cross-application data flows.

• Experience coordinating testing across multiple application owners.

• Familiarity with defect tracking and requirement traceability tools.

• Experience working across US India time zones.

Additional Requirement

Candidates must be willing to convert to C2H after 6 months and provide confirmation of their willingness via email.
