TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Contract options available for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Floating to other units as needed. Contracts may extend through February 27, 2026.

Highlights:

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 41-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive 24-hour orientation with hospital-wide onboarding during week one
• Robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Experience with diverse patient population including isolation/COVID areas and cardiac monitoring
• Opportunity to develop skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, heparin protocols, insulin drips, and wound care

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in blood product administration, heparin and insulin protocols, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions, non-invasive airway management, PCA, peripheral line care, and wound care/wound vac
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be available to work storm team/hurricane team assignments during catastrophic events or disasters
