Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be fully remote, enabling our therapists to create a comfortable work-life balance while engaging with patients effectively. Our outpatient office serves a varied population, allowing for a rich and dynamic therapeutic experience. With a work week structured Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, there may also be an expectation of occasional evenings and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring flexibility for client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to evaluate symptoms and establish an accurate diagnosis related to mood disorders.

• Engage clients in collaborative treatment plan development, ensuring that interventions are personalized to meet individual needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with tools for self-care and understanding treatment options.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to ensure effective care.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach, thus enhancing overall patient care.

• Stay current with ongoing research and innovative practices in the mental health field, utilizing this knowledge to inform your clinical practices.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients, working towards the destigmatization of mood disorders and addressing their mental health needs in various settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is working with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to help clients navigate their circumstances, fostering resilience and promoting mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in recognized treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a proven record of effective client outcomes.

• A strong foundation in psychopharmacology to facilitate collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
