A CNC Machine Operator uses different measuring tools to make sure products meet customer expectations, and is able to set up and run CNC equipment independently once trained.

2nd or 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator
Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Math skills (decimals, fractions)

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting

• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings

• Must understand the proper use of and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment

• Must have vision correctable to 20/20

• Ability to distinguish color

• Basic computer skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Must be available for all shifts

• Able to efficiently operate and setup CNC / Manual machining equipment

• Can perform routine machine setups, make tool and programming adjustments, and perform minor

troubleshooting

• Good documentation skills and on target with attendance and dependability
Responsibility:

• Responsible for alerting immediate supervisor of any problems in process

• Responsible for handling parts to prevent damage

• Authorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issue

• Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work area

• Responsible for maintaining machines and tooling

• Responsible for producing quality product and meeting production standards

• Responsible for completing in-process inspection documentation per established requirements

• Train employees as needed

Benefits eligible on day 1

7% shift premium

2nd shift 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday

3rd shift 10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday
