Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat in an ethical and compassionate manner.

• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities that fit the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address clients’ specific circumstances and mental health goals.

• Helping clients gain insights into their feelings, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.

• Monitoring client progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting approaches as needed, and assisting clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Therapists at J & D Mood Balance Health Care work primarily with stable, low-acuity adults presenting a diverse range of mental health concerns. Our clients may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions. By focusing on low-acuity concerns, therapists have the opportunity to implement effective preventative strategies and promote long-term mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently, which can be one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .
\n
• No provisional or limited licenses, and no history of disciplinary actions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a sympathetic nature, and strong computer literacy.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, we particularly value those with experience in telehealth therapy, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
