This is a brand-new role, which means you'll get to build it. If you're the kind of person who digs into the details, thrives in ambiguity, and loves making complex programs run smoothly, let's talk.Your ImpactOwn all benefits programs — health, dental, vision, 401(k), leave, and wellness — from administration to complianceServe as the primary point of contact for employees navigating benefits questions and open enrollmentManage vendor relationships (Sequoia, MetLife, Anthem, Empower) and hold partners accountable to SLAsAdminister multi-state leave programs, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions where we operatePartner closely with Finance on audits, 5500 filings, and benefits-related reportingSupport new hire onboarding by educating team members on plan options and enrollment processesLead open enrollment each year — planning, communications, and executionDrive wellness initiatives as we move toward a self-insured modelThe Ideal Match5+ years of benefits administration experience, ideally at a growing companyHands-on experience with level-funded or self-insured health plans — this is a mustMulti-state leave administration experience (FMLA, state-specific leave laws, etc.) — also a mustStrong vendor management skills and comfort holding brokers and carriers accountableProficiency in Rippling or similar HRIS platformsHighly organized with strong attention to detail — you catch what others missBonus PointsExperience with Empower or another 401(k) administration platformFamiliarity with 5500 prep and filingWhy Join UsCompetitive comp package that rewards impactWork alongside some of the brightest minds in fintechGround-floor opportunity to build a benefits function from scratch at a fast-scaling startupChart your own growth path as we expandFull health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA optionsUnlimited PTOReady to disrupt wealth management?
