Lead Software Engineer - Data Platform

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience in NAMR/APAC regions, including India, LATAM, and Hong Kong.
• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus advanced applied experience for EMEA and LATAM-Brazil.
• In Singapore, we follow local country guidance.
• We need hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We expect advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• We value demonstrated experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting, with clear standards for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We need a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations, along with experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant adoption.
• We expect proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• We look for advanced understanding of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We require in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• We value practical cloud-native experience.

• We design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, thinking beyond routine approaches to solve technical problems.
• We build secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• We apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered through automation.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to strengthen the operational stability of software applications and systems.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and fit within existing systems and information architecture.
